I have spent most of my life in East London and prior to being ordained, spent 20 years in the Finance Industry. Having served my curacy in Chelmsford, Essex, I was delighted to move back to the East End to be vicar at Ascension. I am married to Sarah and have two grown up daughters.

Originally from Nigeria, I have lived in the UK for 20 years. Prior to being ordained, I worked in media, healthcare and teaching.  I trained for ordained ministry at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University. I was born in beautiful Derbyshire and married to Tim. Prior to coming to Ascension, I was Vicar at King's Lynn, Norfolk. I trained for ministry at Ridley, Hall, Cambridge and served my curacy in Liverpool. I have two step-children who are both at University. Our family also includes George, our beloved dog.

I was born and raised in Custom House and have a heart for young people in the area. I had worked as a Teaching Assistant and Youth Worker with the Local borough before becoming Youth Worker at Ascension. I am a mother of three grown children and a grandmother to two lovely girls.
